Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF)
The Adler & Lipkus Foundation is very mindful of protecting and preserving the animals on our planet.
We continue to support the CWF in its wildlife education and conservation initiatives.
- One project we support is the Pollinators Right of Way Program, especially the habitat restoration of the Monarch butterfly, whose population has declined 80% in recent years. The biggest threat to their existence is habitat loss due to herbicide spraying, frequent mowing, and hydro lines.
- A second one is the Help the Turtles Project. Fresh-water turtles are the most endangered group of wildlife in Canada. Our support allows CWF to incubate at-risk turtle nests, increase the amount of protected wetland habitat, and reduce threats to turtles by installing wildlife fencing at major mortality hotspots.
